You need to make sure the foot pedal is correctly installed on your computer. Attach it using its cable, then go to Start > Run > devmgmt.msc. If there is a yellow item in the list, right click it and choose Update Driver. Point the installer to the driver directory and Windows should take care of the rest. To check the supported products, go to Help > Contents. That's where the developer should put the information.
