SL Studio KH and black windows behavior

On our SL Studio KH program camera 1 and camera 2 windows are blacked out. The cameras still function and display on the TV (what the cameras are focused on). But on the actual Mac computer everything is black. Does anyone have a solution to this?

I have tried finding a troubleshooting page/document for this issue, but nothing comes up, not even on the developer's website. Additionally, I have tried finding a contact option to get in touch with them, but that's missing as well. If you still have the software installed on your computers, go to Help > About and use any contact info you find to reach support or developers. This is the only way to obtain information about the way the software works.
