Hi all.

My PC was infected with viruses..

I have cleaned it completely, but many office and pdf files are corrupted and won’t open.

I have tried many repair programs that I googled, but can’t find appropriate.

Thanks for your help in advance!

1.Repair using Control Panel (Windows)
Although you can repair your product installation by choosing Help > Repair [product] Installation, the Control Panel method sometimes provides better results.

Close Reader or Acrobat.
Choose Start > Control Panel.

Do one of the following in Control Panel, depending on your version of Windows:
(Windows 7/Vista) Click Programs, and then click Programs And Features.
(Windows XP) Double-click Add Or Remove Programs.
In the list of programs, select Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat.
Click Change and follow the instructions to repair the application.
When the process is complete, click Finish.

2.Repair from within Reader or Acrobat
(Reader) Choose Help > Repair Adobe Reader Installation.
(Acrobat) Choose Help > Repair Acrobat Installation.

3.On Linux, try this command:

gs \
-o repaired.pdf \
-sDEVICE=pdfwrite \
-dPDFSETTINGS=/prepress \
On Windows, try this one:

gswin32c.exe ^
-o repaired.pdf ^
-sDEVICE=pdfwrite ^
-dPDFSETTINGS=/prepress ^

If yor PDF file data loss, recommend EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Free Edition. It can easily recover deleted PDF file, formatted PDF file, etc.
