What is a Kyocera USB modem? I have a Toshiba Satellite L855D-S5220, when I powered it up, I found no sound, troubleshooting this modem was the only thing that came up. My PC is a laptop.

The Kyocera USB modem is a device driver that allows Windows to recognize the Kyocera phones. When you connect a Kyocera Android phone to PC and enable the USB Mass Storage, this driver tells Windows to display the storage partition in My Computer, therefore enabling you to access the files from the phone. Removing the driver will cripple the USB Mass Storage functionality.
