I used the other link (//psiphon.ca/en/download.html) but it leads to the same file (same size).

If the application was downloaded from the official developer, then the activity is somehow justified. However, I wouldn't trust Psiphon when it comes to privacy. You can use CyberGhost VPN or even Tor Browser. The problem with TOR is with the exit nodes that can be controlled for MITM traffic, but CyberGhost should be just fine if you don't work with sensitive data (credit cards, banking operations, PayPal, etc).

I have used both of them and never had any issues, maybe with speed, but that's something else to discuss.
