OST to PST conversion info

I have a new client that uses a cloud Exchange server and is charged at outrageous amount per month for 25 email addresses.
We are going to move the domain to someone like Godaddy and have POP accounts then. My question is, since I do not have admin rights to the Exchange server, what program will truly allow me to convert the OST file (that they have on their PCs over) to a PST file (so we can do POP accounts)?

My advice is to use Outlook or a compatible Exchange application to connect to the server (to check email!) and then export the OST to your local computer after the synchronization takes place. I did the same with Thunderbird/Outlook when my domain on Google Apps had issues. I have synced all the emails and saved the PST file to my local computer, after the emails have been delivered to my local database.
