When I try to install the program, it becomes clear that I have to change my security settings on Windows 7. Can somebody please tell me which are the important ones, because there is a really huge pile of those?

You can adjust the security settings of your computer through the Policy Editor. You can use it to modify every aspect of Security for the WIndows 7 operating system. However, I recommend using Google while you are editing the policies.

To start it, go to Start > Run > gpedit.msc, then expand the tree on the left to browse through options.

How to use Policy Editor: Google Search results.
