I was using this modem on my MAC for quite a long time without any issue. But now, after upgrading to OS X Yosemite 10.10.2, there is no operation at all. All the time when the modem application is started, it says "No Device" but the dongle is connected to MAC on the regular USB port I generally use.

I tried to re-install the app many times in different procedures but didn't help. The same dongle/modem as it is works fine with Windows PC. Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

The cause to this issue is compatibility. The application for Mac is not compatible with Yosemite 10.10.2. Unfortunately, you can't do anything about it since Mac is not working in the same way as Windows, meaning that you can't apply compatibility tweaks for applications. The only way to overcome this issue is to contact the seller of that modem or downgrade the OSX.

To obtain information about downgrading, visit the websites listed through Google Search.
