To check if you're protected, make sure the software is running (usually in the system tray). Double click its icon and watch the status of the program. If there isn't something working right, you will see it in the application's interface. To enable the protection simply click the buttons related to this procedure. Most antivirus and protection applications have this feature to enable the modules with a click of a button.
