Information about the 3rd party software locking accounts.

I received an email from Snapchat telling me since I'm using a third party Snapchat app that my account had been locked. I can change my password to unlock it, however they say that if I continue to use 3rd party apps such as this they will perma ban the account. Anyway around this?

Yes, due to latest changes in security policy, your account will be permanently banned if you keep using 3rd party Snapchat clients. There was a big hack through 3rd party applications and because of that Snapchat developers ban every users who attempts to install another client other than the official one. It's best to stick with the official one if you care about your account.
