Received "Configuration was unsuccessful" message.

After downloading Jitterbit on my Mac I received this notification in my e-mail: The configuration was unsuccessful because the Force.com Canvas connected application was not a personal-enabled Canvas app. Therefore I was not given a "security token." Does anyone know how to resolve something like this? And can anyone describe to me exactly what a personal-enabled Canvas app is?

Since there is no information available for this error, you will have to get in touch with the developer. He should explain to you the correct steps to install the application and receive the necessary token to activate the software.
