Problems with the Belkin@TV.

Thanks for the reply. I have to say, before this error popped up, I didn't even know what MMC was. Therefore, I am not sure how I run it, or better yet, how to close it. I can have everything closed and then when I click on my desktop icon for Belkin@tv, the MMC error code pops up, every time. I have installed and re-installed this software from Belkin many times already, the error code always comes up. I am the administrator on the computer, because I am the only user (it is my personal laptop) so indulge me, how the heck do you close the MMC? I didn't even know it was running.

I think the reason there is not a lot of references to this problem is because most sensible people have moved on from Vista. I am stuck with it for now, unfortunately.

Thanks again for your suggestions, sorry I am not too technical.

If the previous solution didn't fix the problem, then I believe it's something with Windows itself. If you have the installation CD, insert it, start a Command Prompt with admin access and then type: sfc /scannow. Wait for the process to complete and reboot the system. Secondly, access the Belkin website and download a new version of the software for the device you have. This could also fix the problems with the MMC and bugs.
