You probably lack some installation points of the necessary version supported by Go SMS Emoji plugin. According to the official information found on the application's page at Google Play, the plug-in supports GO SMS Pro v6.11 or higher. After the application will be updated, I recommend re-installing the application. Open GO SMS, create a new SMS and type on the green icon on top of the application and the emoji will be available for usage.
