When it comes to connection between any device and a PC, it doesn't really matter what is the operating system as long as the Internet is ready and the firewall is configured to allow connections from the application you're using to the target device. Simply start the application and initiate a connection. As long as it's running on the 64bit OS, then there shouldn't be a problem with the connection. Architecture doesn't have anything to do in this case.
