The device needs a driver in order to access it from your computer. Download the driver from the official website if the one on your disk didn't work. Access the page and download the package then go to Device Manager (Start > Run > devmgmt.msc). Locate the device in the list and extract the driver you downloaded. Right click the device and choose Update driver. Point the installer to the exacted location and continue with the installation. After it completes, go to My Computer and you should see the contents.
