Atheros Communications Wireless Network Adapter driver problem.

Question

I have a problem with the Internet connection on notebook Asus G750JZ with Linux amd64 (both eth and wifi). I want to update (set) driver for network card, but I haven't found it for Linux. I have the following controllers: Eth controller: Atheros Communications Inc/ Device 10a1 (rev 10)Wi-fi: Atheros Communications Inc. AR9462 Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01).

This laptop/ultrabook was optimized for gaming which means Windows 7 and WIndows 8.1 64bit are supported. What you have in computer installed right now are the generic drivers that work with the hardware. I haven't found any drivers released as official for the Qualcomm/Atheros components found in your laptop. Try running sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get upgrade to perform a dist-upgrade because this is the only way .
