Why does my audio sound choppy?

My audio, when the video is playing, cuts in and out. It sounds very choppy, why?

This could be a codecs problem. I recommend installing the following codecs package to eliminate this issue. I recommend downloading CCCP codec package through the application's page at Software Informer. Additionally, the file you are trying to play might be corrupt which means Windows and the whole system is out of the question when it comes to causes that might lead to choppy playback. Try switching the play to something else. VLC or Winamp is also recommended when you want to play audio files.
