I want to change my user's password in Relief Data Entry System. How can I do that?

Hi, this is Marvin. I forgot my password in Relief Data Entry System 2.1 of BIR. How can I reset my password? Can anyone help me? Thank you very much in advance!

In case you have forgotten your user password, resetting is a two step operation based on the built-in features that program offers. You can change your password by firing up the software and use the first menu that appears then use the Utilities button and a new window will appear with different options. It is called Utilities and Admin menu from where you can perform different maintenance operations including password changing. From that menu click on Change password button, select the username in question and type your new password.

My recommendation is to add a new user with administration rights and then change the password for the other username.

What is the default password? I cannot set my own password in the utility because the system is asking for the old password.

From the BIR Relief program directory, go to Data folder and delete the ff. files: uspalog.cdx uspalog.dbf

That will reset the username and password of the program.
