Updating old version of software to Architect Deluxe.

I have 3D Architect that is about 14 years old. Want to update to Architect Deluxe. Will my old files convert to the new Deluxe version?

No, the files won't be converted to enhance compatibility with the new software. In fact, 3D Home Architect Deluxe is a discontinued product. It was available on Broderbund website in the past. Now, the new software is called Punch! Home Design Studio Complete and offers the same great features as Architect Deluxe did. You can browse the search result list at Broderbund website. You can either choose to use the old version (that you still have) or upgrade to the new one from the website mentioned here.

What software will read 3D Architect files ? I have a lot of files I am unable to view that were made on 3D Home Architect ? My 3D Home Architect CD is not compatible with windows 10..... any ideas ?

The answer is to make windows10 accept older software. Must load WINDOWS XP MODE then all ok . I use 3D Architect Deluxe 4.0 on Windows 10pro 64 bit and all my old files from 2005 onwards work on this -- Still the best home design software !
