Emsisoft fails to update.

Why won't my Emsisoft Anti-Malware update? The last time was November 13th. It keeps telling me that it can't connect to the update server and to check my Internet connection and proxy settings. Can anyone please advise?

I have installed the application and started the UPDATE procedure. I was able to install the latest definitions for the database of the application. Try to manually download a new copy of the software and then apply it to your current installation. It should work this way and besides that, the modules and the files will be automatically updated to the new version of the software. Secondly, access the Windows Firewall and add this application to the exclusion list. This will allow it to connect to the update servers to download the latest definitions for the virus signatures.
