Distribution of GProbe and licensing restrictions.

Question

We use a Genesis series controller in our product, and are faced with providing a firmware upgrade to our commercial customer. Our plan was to distribute GProbe application along with our updated firmware on CD. Distribution would be limited to 60 sites maximum.

However our customer, a well-known multinational one, is concerned as the licensing agreement within GProbe specifically prohibits commercial use, etc.

How can we obtain permission to use GProbe in this limited distribution, which is clearly for commercial purposes?

I don't think there is any representative for the Genesis CGProbe on this board to answer this question, but I can tell you how to get to one. Unfortunately, there is no website configured to offer information about CGProbe or its activity. In this case, the only thing you can do is to take advantage of the contact options provided by the software. Start the application on any of your computers and go to Help > About. There should be options to contact the developer or sales representative. He/she/they will provide all the necessary information related to the CGProbe and its licensing restrictions.
