How to fix error 492 on my Android device?

I could not update or download any application due to error 492. I have cleared the cache of Google Services and Play Store, still I am facing the same error. My OS is Jelly Bean 4.2. Kindly help me to fix this problem.

There are a few possible fixes besides clearing the cache of the services and store:

1. Add another account to the device and use then when you access the Google Play Store.

2. Uninstall the updates for the Google Play from Settings > Applications manager > All > Google Play Services & Google Play Store > Uninstall updates.

3. Factory reset the device using from Recover or from the Settings menu.

One of this methods should work and the download functionality might be restored.
