APK file format is used by Android phones and it's basically the installer package for software on Android. SMT file format is used by phones which run Bada operating system. Although the base software is the same (Linux), how the system works and how it's implemented is totally different. There is no way to convert between these files. For example, a Facebook application for Android is not the same as the one for Bada. The system files used are totally different on these two operating systems.
