Auto rotate is not working on my Galaxy 4. It worked fine until I went overseas. I first noticed it in the camera and gallery apps. I have checked it and is on in the main menu. Is there somewhere else I need to turn it on?

It has been suggested to do a factory reset.

If you have problems turning auto rotate on or off, then you should use an application to force this process. Auto-Rotate Status Bar Switch is an alternative for this operation. Access the application's page at Google Play to download it. If you encounter the same error, factory reset the phone. This should fix it. You can do it from Settings > Privacy or Settings > Security.
