FTP is built into every browser. You do not need additional software to use this feature. In Microsoft Internet Explorer or any other browser you can navigate FTP as you navigate a simple page, just use FTP instead of HTTP when you want to navigate using this protocol.
For example if you want to navigate through a FTP server, in browser, you use : ftp://example.com instead of http://example.com.
