This could be a limitation of the software, but there is another possible solution. If the two accounts are the same, then delete one and keep the other. Or copy the remaining information from the account you want to delete and add it to the other one.
Another cause is the lack of permissions, in this case the only possible way to fix it is to contact the IT administrator to give you permission for the required operation.
