Error message: Alcyone Eclipse Calculator has stopped working.

The additional message is: "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

I am running Windows 7. When I first got the Alcyone programs a couple of years ago, they all worked fine. Recently they all stopped working. I get this same error message when I try to run them. Is there a solution?

This error could be caused by compatibility. The first thing to do is to apply a few compatibility tweaks. Right click the application and select Properties > Compatibility. Choose a prior version of Windows from the drop down list and then attempt to run it again. With a bit of luck, the software should start running again.
