I am using "MMX354 Xtra" 3G dongle. Previously it used to work fine in Windows XP. Then when I switched to Windows 7, the drivers installed successfully, but could not connect to the Internet. It can initialize the SIM and detect the service provider, but whenever I am clicking the "Connect" button, it is throwing the following error: "ErrorID=734. The PPP link control protocol was terminated."

This is an error caused by some configuration settings. To fix it, you will need to clear the Negotiate multi-link for single link connections option. To do this, simply visit the official website of Microsoft Support and use the instructions posted. While you are diagnosing the error, make sure to select Allow unsecured password in the Security tab and then you can use the Micromax dongle in Windows 7.
