This application is not useful for your needs because it allows you to transfer files to your Android device from a computer. To play videos on your TV, you will need an adapter which is most usually compatible with Samsung devices. If you have a smart TV which supports PLEX, then you can use DNLA streaming to play the videos on your phone to your TV.
