If you have problems with the application, then my advice is to try to run it in compatibility mode. Right click the executable file and select Properties > Compatibility. From the drop down list, choose an inferior version of Windows than the one you're using and then right click it again and select Run as Administrator. Additionally, reinstall the application because it's most likely possible the registry keys were corrupted.
