The latest version for your mobile phone is Android Gingerbread 2.3.6 which is the one you currently use. As I can see, there is no newer version available for your phone. Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0.x) and Jelly Bean (4.1.x) versions, are available for high-end devices. Of course, rooting the phone and installing custom firmware like Cyanogenmod (2.3.7) is still an available option, but unless you don't have the proper knowledge, it is best to stay away because you could break your phone.

You can eaaily upgrade your android 2.3.4 or 2.3.5 gingerbread to version 4.0 or 4.1 with the use of mobogenie for system after downloading it on your system, connect your android phone and and it will start upgrading automatically though it takes at about 3 hours or so to upgrade....
