Will Harvard Graphics Chart XL run on Windows 7 Professional (64 bit)?

0 votes

I have many .hcx files that I created years ago with Harvard Graphics Chart XL and I would like to open and work with them again. I've seen posts that Harvard Graphics Chart XL will not run on Windows 7, but will on the Professional version. Can you confirm?

Indeed, this is an application released back in '98-'99. Windows 7 or Windows 10 don't have support for such applications unless you use a virtualization tool to install an older version of Windows (preferably XP) and then you can run it in that environment.

This also requires that you already have an XP installation disc or ISO.
