If you have problems with the application, then I recommend using the Setup button available on its interface. I believe this is just a misconfiguration of the DVR/EVR devices on your network. Remove all the devices through the Setup menu and then add them back using the available buttons and procedure.
Since I don't have a DVR on my network, it's impossible to use the available features.
