... in mx6 you want to save it as .mp3 not .mx6 ... converter because mx6 is not saving anything but .mx6 format.. and ... files to .mp3 without using mixcraft.
MX6 project files store paths to MP3s located on your computer. You can open MX6 files using the software and see the path where all the MP3s are stored and used by the software.
