Can t uninstall avast antivirus?

In order to uninstall Avast Antivirus you need to use Avastclear uninstallation utility. Download ... appears, open the uninstaller and click REMOVE.  

hi,I cant uninstall avast,even from control panel,and I also cant reinstall it.what else can I do? it said there is setiface error!! :( thanks for helping me :)  

i mistakely deleted my avast anti-virus.and now i cannot uninstall it.  

I can't uninstall Avast, is there a specific reason why?  

I can't Uninstall Avast because my security system doesn't permit me to do it. I would like to do it to reinstall another one.  

Have you tried the following... Start => Control Panel => Add or Remove Program => Avast Antivirus.....Change/Remove (as per Windows XP)
