HDMI Powerpoint information.

I have a powerpoint presentation with embedded music that I can play on my laptop (HP DV7) and extend to a HD TV via an HDMI channel. Now the sound will not play on the HD TV. When I went to the control panel to look at my audio devices, the ATI HD is missing, I did nothing to make it go away. How can I regain the ATI High definition?

The first place you should look for is the Device Manager. Go to Start > Computer > (right click it) Properties > Device manager. If the ATI driver isn't installed, right click it and select Update Driver. Additionally to go System Tray and right click the sound icon > Playback devices. Select the HDTV and right click it. Choose Default and then restart the presentation and it should work normally.
