Is Adobe Flash Player ActiveX important?

Hello, I accidentally uninstalled Adobe Flash Player 11 active X. I am using Firefox as my default browser so I wish to know whether the Adobe Flash Player ActiveX is important or not. Please help.

Also I installed Real Player and the latest Adobe Flash Player crashed when I was playing Youtube videos. An error message popped-out when I pressed the play button in Youtube and other website's video.

Any solution?

Adobe Flash Player ActiveX is an important component for a rich web experience. Almost everything you browse has this activex component which relies on. Almost any animation is built on Flash player technology and Youtube benefits from this in a 100% percent because the delivered videos rely on it.

Please download it again and install it while your browser is closed. The error you have may be caused by compatibility between RealPlayer and your browser. You should uninstall Real Player then re-install Adobe Flash Player ActiveX and see if the error appears again.
