I am trying to install LDS Nicolet Data Viewer on my Windows 7 64-bit PC. I installed it in both Program Files and Program Files(x86) directories but it's not working. I noticed that the files all end up in Program Files (x86). It requires me to update the key code that I got from my co-worker and I start to wonder if my 64-bit PC is the problem. My co-worker can install the 32-bit version without any problems.

The application is not compatible with 64-bit versions of Windows 7. You can download the 32-bit version and it will install without problems but the problem is the installer that's not compatible. The application might work but since there is a problem with the installer, you will never have the possibility to install it. My advice is to install the 32-bit version on your co-worker's computer and then manually copy the whole folder from Program Files and transfer it to your computer. Right click the executable file and select Properties > Compatibility > Windows XP and launch it afterwards. If it's not working, then the program is not compatible with Windows 7 64-bit at all.
