I have MP Navigator 2.2 but can't set it for scanning, although it does print.

You need to add a certain line to your environment to make the MP Navigator perform scanning.

Go to Start > (right click) Computer> Advanced System settings > Advanced > Environment Variables. Click New on System Variables and enter Path as name and then c:\windows\twain_32\mpXXX where MPXXX is the model of your printer.

It should work afterwards.
