No, the application isn't working with Windows 8 because there is no version released for this operating system. Although the product was released a few years ago, it still works in compatibility mode with Windows XP selected as the previous OS. To make it work, simply right click the installer/executable and select Properties > Compatibility > Windows XP. After this operation, right click again on file and choose Run as Administrator and follow the instructions. Every time you start the application it needs to run as Administrator.
