How do I get rid of LiveBoost? I can't delete the .exe file.

If the application refuses to uninstall, you can always use an unlocking application. For instance, Unlocker is capable or unlocking the processing so that you may delete it when it's necessary. However, LiveBoost can also be related to malware or adware infection, and in this case you need to use another tool. Run a copy of Combofix and you should be able to remove the application from your computer. Alternatively, right click the file then select Unlocker after you've installed it, delete the file then run Combofix.

I use free version of system mechanic after update I noticed Liveboost had been installed with no uninstall option for this addon also couldnt find it as a separate startup item so I ctrl alt delete to bring up running processes found liveboost.exe and ended the process then went into the iolo folder and deleted liveboost.exe this is probably not the best way to do it but worked for me and system mechanic still seems to function without the liveboost.exe being present
