PDF is a file format that contains graphic elements as well as text. It was developed by Adobe Inc. It was a proprietary file until they choose to release it for public. It's a standard nowadays to encapsulate text and graphic items in PDFs since they're easy to handle, modify, and read.

ASPX stands for Active Server Page Extended File and is a language file based on the ASP.NET programming language. It was developed by Microsoft and it's used to create websites, pages, handle databases, and everything related to web operations.
