First you need to connect the fingerprint scanner to your computer and then use the Device Manager to manually install the driver. If the package is already installed and there's a yellow item in Device manager, right click and select Update Driver. Follow the on-screen steps and complete the installation steps. Perform a reboot and you will be able to use the scanner.
