I have been a client of Genebase since 2007. I would like to use some of the Genebase MTDNA graphics in a book I am ready to publish. The book coordinates my genetic evidence provided by Genebase with historical and archaeological evidence. The graphics illustrate to readers what I am talking about. Of course I am citing www.genebase.com as the source in captions beneath the graphics, but I need written permission so that I do not break any copyright laws.

To ask for permission, first you need to create an account on the official website. Use the following page to create an account. Click the SignUp and fill the form until you get a confirmed account. Once it's finished, open a support ticket and ask for information related to copyright and legal information. This is the only way to do it since contacting them is the method to acquire legal rights or permission.
