The factory reset option is option number 5 and option 6 (if you want a complete reset). Erase user data is actually the Factory Reset option that you need to use. The option number 6 also removes the content you might have on the SDcard such as pictures, music, games, apps, etc. If you want to keep them, use only the option no.5 and reboot the phone.
