It seems that this is a fairly common issue. In order to fix it and to install Cubase, you need to close the SYNSOPS.exe before proceeding with the installation. To do this, press the following key combination Ctrl + Alt + Del which will open the Task Manager. On the Process tab, search the mentioned process, select it and Force stop it. After you did this, continue with the installation process. In this case, every time you encounter an error with these two programs, do the process again. To completly overcome this problem, go to C:\ Windows\ System32 and delete the following items : synsoacc.dll, SynsoLChk.dll, Synsopos.exe.
