Yes, not knowing what Im doing, I pressed 'disable' on the Home App V3.0.1351 in 'App Info' LG Optimus L3.

Now the phone can't find many Internet pages, or scroll while I'm surfing, and a few other things. Is there any other way of re-enabling the app, aside from rooting the phone?

I've tried manually searching for updates on the phone, that's about the extent of my knowledge.

There are two ways you can use to enable the application:

  1. Go to Settings > Applications Manager > All > Home > Enabled.

  2. Factory Reset the phone using Settings > Privacy > Factory Reset.

The first method will restore the application even if it's disabled and the second one will wipe all the installed apps, customization options, settings, etc and it will restore it to factory default where Home is the default launcher.
