What does the acronym "EVO" mean? As in "harmony generator" for example.

I see EVO used as an acronym but I cannot find with any searches I have done what it means. The context is an advertisement for Antares Harmony Engine Evo "autotune EVO".

The EVO is just the name attributed to the application. Since there are multiple versions of the specified plug-in, EVO stands for simple Evolution. This is a standard implementation established by the developer. It doesn't mean anything else but evolution.
