No, Sensor Explorer was designed to run with Windows operating system, but it wasn't updated yet for Windows 8. I recommend you to try the Compatibility Mode. This mode will help you work with applications that are not running with your operating system. (Right click on its .exe file, choose Proprieties > Compatibility and select the version of Windows in which runs)
