I have a problem with WhatsApp.

It's showing that I am online when I don't use it and I also not getting any notifications at all.

The problem with the online status could be related to their servers. There isn't anything you can do. To receive notifications, go to Settings > Accounts > WhatsApp account and enable Sync. This way, the application will automatically scan for incoming messages.
